The "Folk Festival Poster" is a poster for
a ficticious event on a ficticious date and time. The poster was actually created on Nov. 28, 1996, which would be the date
of the 1st Annual Autumn Folk Festival... if one such event were to occur. Try this. Place your finger on the screen
over the 7 in 1997 to see the actual date. Yes, that was intentionally designed that way as an -Easter egg-. The guitar was my dad's old accoustic guitar, now youngest brother Steve's, and was placed on my parent's back deck at sunset. The musical staves were created using a toothpaste routine in Photoshop that we learned about in class. It simulates a 3 dimentional (3D) look. Surprisingly enough, after years of teaching this routine in class, my professor, John Nagel, had never seen anyone use it in a project until now.
