WP: Clomp® (1997-2006)
I started building web sites for Lutheran churches in 1998. That is mainly what I do for Clomp®. I also use Clomp® to sharpen my programming and web development skills.
I started building a search engine in 1997. Mainly because I liked running a Bulletin Board Service (BBS) back in 1995. Since I can never find anything useful on some of the other search engines, I thought it would be fun to put my favorite links into it.
Disclaimer: Every employer, has known about this up front before hiring me. Every employer has waived any and all rights to owning it.
For the record, I only develop it on my own personal time, on my own computer equipment, and never at work. Even though I may use it to search for something while at work.
Clomp® is now a registered trademark of the Clomp Corporation. I filed the registration papers in 1998.
The Clomp® Search Engine is currently being re-built.
