Welcome to my website! I build websites. My last name is pronounced “Keck”. I happen to be open to finding new opportunities to work on new technology.
Highly skilled full-stack web developer / designer with 25+ years of experience, has solved complex challenging problems & written code in 13+ languages. Proven track record of building revenue generating technology, mentoring junior developers & optimizing technical stacks, which increase performance, employee satisfaction & profits. Experience includes both front-end & back-end coding, plus work as an artist using Adobe Photoshop & as a DBA with 5+ years of management experience.
This Summer, I’ve been studying Salesforce, Agentforce (AI) & Microsoft Azure. As you can see in the “Points Earned via These Learning Paths” section on this page, I’ve been tracking what I’ve been learning. I also use that as a jumping off point, to return to those learning paths. I’ve also been learning .NET MAUI with C#.
During my illustrious career, I have:
Let’s take a look at some of my skills:
I tend to be an artist who can code. Most programmers are analytical & can’t design art. I have Adobe® Photoshop® and Illustrator® design skills. I studied digital imaging for 2 full years in college, as an art major. I also have 3D Modeling & 3D Computer Animation skills. I was studying Maya® & starting to use Unity 3D.
I have web development programming skills in HTML, CSS & JavaScript. Since I can find creative solutions to solving bugs, most I.T. recruiters tend to give me front-end development roles. That results in having my resumes show front-end heavy development roles. I have also used Angular, Aurelia, jQuery, React & Vue.
In the past, I was an object oriented (OO) PERL developer, before I switched to using PHP. I have used ASP, C#, CFML, JSP, PERL, PHP & Ruby on Rails.
I have back-end programming & database stored procedure (SPROC) building skills. In the RDBMS camp, I have used Access, MySQL, Oracle, PostGreSQL, SQL Server. In the NO SQL camp, I have used Mongo.
I sometimes do low level Linux work to setup CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery) pipelines for companies.
I learned to program in Basic, Turbo Pascal, C, Delphi & Visual Basic.
You can see more about what I have been studying at this link. It will also verify that the numbers below are truthful & accurate. I also use it to return to the Trailhead educational journey over at Salesforce.
